Apart from me he rejected one and approved one in front of me.

Me: Hello officer, Good Morning
VO: Good morning

VO: so, why do you want to study at NYIT?
Me: Officer, the course curriculum provided by NYIT is very much aligned with my interests such as data analytics, optimization methods and along with that I would be able to chose from a variety of electives from computer science department. (Interrupted by VO)

VO: Have you applied yo any other universities?
Me: Yes officer, I have applied to 5 other universities and told their names.

VO: how many admits?
Me: I have received admits 2 university 3 universities rejected and one is under departmental review.

VO: What is your undergrad CGPA
Me: 5.9/10

VO: Have you appeared for GRE if yes, what's your score?
Me: Yes officer, I have got 311 in GRE. (I have taken my exam in center only but I didn't mention it at VI)

VO: (with a doubtful voice and face) You have a gre score of 311 with a GPA of 5.9!!??
Me: Yes officer (at this point he started typing something and typed for 2 mins)

VO: Please place your left hand four fingers on the scanner.
VO: Unfortunately, we are not able to approve your application at this point of time. Handed me the 214b letter.

He did not even ask about financial details or anything else.

My guess for rejection: Because of the cheating cases of GRE home based exam. He thought of me as a similar case as my GPA is low and GRE is 311 and rejected me.
