Description:Position Summary:
1. Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with contract specifications and company objectives. Coordinate the efforts of team members and sub-contractors throughout all project phases, from commencement through completion.
- Resource Management: Secure and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring that they are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Budget Management: Establish and maintain project budgets. Monitor expenditures and costs against the budget and ensure that the project remains financially viable.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with government representatives, consultants, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address any issues promptly to minimize impact on the project.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project activities comply with government regulations and company standards. Oversee quality control and ensure that the project meets all required specifications and standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and compliance records. Ensure that all project records are accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree/ a Master’s degree in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer and must have experience of Project management for at least 2 years, with a proven track record of successfully managing Water Supply projects.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple aspects of a construction project simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer and must have experience of Project management for at least 2 years, with a proven track record of successfully managing Water Supply projects.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
