Update: Deputies give all-clear after "active shooter" scare triggers lockdown at nuclear site in Washington state.

Police from throughout the Tri-Cities are heading to the Hanford nuclear reservation in Eastern Washington after the report of possible shots fired at the site. Initial reports were that a person with a shotgun was seen and shots were heard.

Multiple officers from area agencies are heading to the Hanford site for a potential active shooter situation.

A text message read, "Active Assailant at 2750E in 200 East Area. Affected employees prepare to run hide fight. Employees in nearby buildings are to lockdown and prepare to run hide fight. All others stay away."
