Vodafone Ghana_Segment Marketing Analyst, SME (Contract)

Role purpose:

To drive flawless, digital first and on time execution of all SME marketing plans internally and externally. S/He will assist the segment marketing manager in delivering world class insight led experiential programs to drive preference, acquisitions and revenue for the SME sector. S/He will also assist with all communication targeted at SMEs

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

1. Responsible for the planning and implementation of all SME programs and activities.
2. Working with internal teams to develop agency briefs & research strategies (including discussion guides, questionnaires, marketing briefs and product descriptions)
3. Work closely with Finance decision support on SME Publicity Spend to ensure the spend is within its allocation
4. Work with the EVM Manager to define an insight led loyalty experience for enterprise customers.
5. Work on products briefs with Product Team and brief Brand SPOC to develop communication materials.
6. Actively participate in discussions on the trade and channel activities and programs, and make recommendations to the team on targeted activities to leverage on.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

1. Proactive, with strong personal drive
2. Enthusiastic about the telecoms industry
3. Medium to strong quantitative ability
4. Insightful with the ability to view a problem from different angles
5. Attention to details whiles retaining sense of the big picture
6. Easily adaptable and able to work under difficult circumstance & pressure
7. At ease with Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint (intermediate or advance)

Prior Experience:
1. The candidate must have a First or Second Degree in Marketing or a related field.

2. S/He must have demonstrated a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a challenging working environment

3. Prior experience in the telecoms industry is an added advantage but not a requirement
