And from them are those who are inspired to backbite due to al-ḥasad (ie: envy).
ومنهم من يحمله الحسد على الغيبة

And so they join between two ugly and awful affairs: al-ġībah (ie: backbiting) and al-ḥasad (ie: envy).
فيجمع بين أمرين قبيحين: الغيبة، والحسد.
