The radical right punches above its weight class on history, philosophy, most social sciences. We're heirs to Nietzsche, Maistre, Spengler, and the whole ancient world.
But who are the great economists we look back to?
We often pass over economics—we're neither of the two major positions, capitalist or socialist. Is there no home for a third position in the West?
From 1850-1950 there was an American school of economics that's now memory-holed. This school was
nationalist, it saw economics as something to be controlled by the state. America used this anti-free market policy to become an economic juggernaut. Germany too, and now China, who is currently handing our ass to us with our own school of thought.
You haven't heard about this school for the same reason you've been lied to about everything else before 1950. This school had a founder who laid the theoretical foundations for a truly nationalist economics—neither individualist nor internationalist. This Friday we'll introduce you to his major work.
