2022-05-30 11:30:49 Ibn Masʿūd also said:

Do not rush the Qurān as poetry is rushed, and do not scatter it like dried up, bad dates get scattered. And pause at its wonders, and move with it the hearts, and let not [reaching] the end of the sūrah be your concern.

Op. cit. Al-Muṣannaf 3:610 article 8817 without ‘and let not the end of…’.

He also said:

When you hear Allāh say (what means): ‘O ye who believe’, then listen carefully, for it is either some good you are being commanded with, or some evil you are being diverted from.

The Muhaajiroon and the Ansaar gave up their share of the Dunya to gain the Truth. By the Will of Allaah, they laid the foundation of brotherhood that was never seen before.

But today some people, for the sake of "unity", want to compromise the truth to gain their share of the Dunya.

2022-05-26 13:30:20 Is Allāh not enough for His slave

Juz 24 | Surah AzZumar, Ayahs 36-37

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ ۖ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِالَّذِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ ﴿٣٦﴾

وَمَنْ يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ مُضِلٍّ ۗ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٍ ذِي انْتِقَامٍ ﴿٣٧﴾

39:36. Is not Allah sufficient for His slave? Yet they try to frighten you with those [whom they worship] besides Him. Whomever Allah has caused to go astray, no one can guide,

39:37. And whomever Allah guides, no one can cause to go astray. Is not Allah Almighty, an Avenger?

[ls not Allah sufficient for His slave] Meaning, is it not part of His generosity, kindness and care of His slave who is carrying out his duties as a slave of Allah, complying with His commands and heeding His prohibitions especially the most perfect of humankind in servitude to his Lord: Muhammad SallAllaahu alaiyhi wasallam, that Allah will suffice him in all his affairs, both religious and worldly, and will ward off from him anyone who intends ill towards him?

[Yet they try to frighten you with those (whom they worship)] besides Him, the idols and rivals, saying that they will harm you. This stems from their misguidance and error. [Whomever Allah has caused to go astray, no one can guide, and whomever Allah guides, no one can cause to go astray] because it is He in Whose Hand is the power to guide or leave astray; whatever He wills happens and whatever He does not will does not happen.

[ls not Allah Almighty-to Him belongs perfect might] by which He subjugates all things. By His might and power, He suffices His slave and wards off the evil plans (of the disbelievers) against him [an Avenger] - whoever disobeys Him, then let them beware of incurring His vengeance.

2022-05-26 04:30:22 Do you guide others towards it but you don't do it?

Al-Baqarah 2:44

أَتَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ

Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves


Narrated Abu Wail رحمه الله :

Somebody said to Usama رضي الله عنه,

He said,

"I have heard him ﷺ saying,


"A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown in the (Hell) Fire,

so that his intestines will come out, and he will go around like a donkey goes around a millstone.

The people of (Hell) Fire will gather around him and say:

O so-and-so! What is wrong with you? Didn't you use to order us to do good deeds and forbid us to do bad deeds?

He will reply: Yes, I used to order you to do good deeds, but I did not do them myself, and I used to forbid you to do bad deeds, yet I used to do them myself."

Dear Muslims,

If you know how quick the living forget the dead, you won't think of “If I die build a well for me”

- Why don’t you build a well while you are still alive?

Wallahi this life is scary

- We don’t want to retire without having something to sustain us after.

- But do we care about Sadaqatul Jāriyah?
- That will keep coming after our death?

Or are we busy doing what we feel like?
- That will keep haunting us after our death?

Subhanallah!

May Allah guide us all , Āmeen.

And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. Qur'an 51:55

“Nothing is weightier on the Scale of Deeds than one’s good manners.”(Al-Bukhari)

"The best among you in Islam are those with the best manners, so long as they develop a sense of understanding.” (Al-Bukhari)

“The most beloved of Allah’s servants to Allah are those with the best manners.” (At-Tabarâni and Albani authenticated it in Silsilatul-AHaadeethis-Saheehah)

Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr said, “Rasulullah (ﷺ) was never obscene or coarse. Rather, he ﷺ used to tell us that the best among us were those with the best manners.” (Al-Bukhari)

Anas (RA) said, “I served Rasulullah (ﷺ) for ten years. During that time, he ﷺ never once said to me as much as ‘Oof’ if I did something wrong. He ﷺ never asked me, if I had failed to do something, ‘Why did you not do it?,’ and he ﷺ never said to me, if I had done something wrong, ‘Why did you do it?” (Al-Bukhari)

“If one has good manners, one may attain the same level of merit as those who spend their nights in prayer.” (Al-Bukhari)

“And what is most likely to send people to Paradise? Being conscious of Allah and good manners.” (Al-Bukhari)

Nawas ibn Sam’an reported that Rasulullah (ﷺ) was asked about doing good and evil. He replied, “Doing good is having good manners. Doing evil is what troubles you inside and what you would not like others to know about.” (Al-Bukhari)

Rasulullah (ﷺ) said, “He who does not show mercy to our young or show esteem for our elders is not one of us.” (Al-Bukhari)

“Richness does not lie in the abundance of (worldly) goods, but richness is the richness of the soul (heart, self).”(Muslim)
