The Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalaam said: "O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity. And whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a shield for him" (Muslim 1400).

Commentary :
Marriage requires one to have some resources so that he will be able to do what has been enjoined upon him of providing for his wife or new family and maintaining them. The phrase "Afford it" refers to the cost of marriage itself (which should not be extravagant), and the responsibilities that follow. Marriage is not merely a contract of fulfilling one's desire, it is commitment and duty.

On the same note, marriage should not be made expensive or difficult to the extent it makes it unbearable for those who sincerely wish to get married. The Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalaam said: "The most blessed marriage is one with least expenses" and in another narration, "The best mahr is one that is easiest" (Ibn Hibban 4163; Sahih Al-Jamii').

Marriage is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity; it gives one the permissible means of fulfilling desire and thus they will be more in control knowing they have their halal.

For the ones unable to get married, it is prescribed for them to focus on fasting, because it weakens desire and reduces the influence of the shaytaan, so it is one of the means of attaining chastity and lowering the gaze (See: Majmoo' Fataawa). They should try their best in fasting and in working towards nikkah until Allah enables them.

The phrase "whoever can afford it, let him get married" indicates that it is prescribed for the one who is able to afford the cost and responsibilities of marriage to hasten towards it. Surely, this is best for them.

Note: Lack of means in and of itself is not an impediment to marriage, if one is religiously committed, and the other is to, "If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His Bounty. And Allah is All-Sufficent for His creatures needs, All-Knowing" (Noor 24:32). The parents, relatives and friends should also help to make it possible for them.

2022-06-02 19:30:59 The most comprehensive supplication, which covers all the goodness a person would want in this world and in the hereafter, is the following dua:


رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
“Our Lord, give us in the world that which is good, and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire.”
(Al-Baqarah: 201)


Examples of good things of this world included in this supplication are:
• A pious spouse, children who are obedient and who are comfort to the eyes
• Halal earnings and ample provisions
• Beneficial knowledge and accepted deeds
• Good health, education and job
• And all good things a person wants, such as a good car, comfortable home, etc

Examples of good things of the hereafter included in this dua are:
• An easy death
• Being saved from punishment in the grave
• The reckoning and questioning of the Day of Judgment being made easy
• Obtaining the pleasure of Allah
• Being given one’s book of deeds in the right hand
• One’s scale of good deeds being heavy
• Entering the everlasting paradise
• Being saved from the punishment of the blazing hellfire

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that this was the most frequent supplication made by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Bukhari no. 6389)


So we should also try to make it the most frequent supplication in our life as well.

2022-06-02 11:30:57 People don't know their deen they don't know how to perform salah they don't know how important is it, they don't know the basics of islam they don't know what is Tauheed and what is Shirk, But yes they Know that this government is hypocrite, they think if they get a chance they can change the world to be a better place while they can't change there self.. I want to say more but i don't have words to express what i feel for such people.. May Allah keep us on the straight path the path of Salafs.

 Dear Muslims,

SOME BID'AH RELATED TO JANAZA(FUNERAL)

1. Wearing black to show mourning.

2. Crying out loud and rolling on the ground.

3. Delaying the burial till after some fixed days.

4. Covering the body with another material, not the shroud.

5. Reciting the Quran to the dead body.

6. Reciting Quran or something, in a group while taking the dead to the graveyard.

7. Burying at home.

8. Cementing the grave.

9. Writing Allah's name or a verse on the grave.

10. Making du'ahs in congregation after the dead is buried(It is done individually), in other words it should be done individually

11. Reciting Yaseen for the deceased.

12. Mandatory feeding people who came for Ta'ziyya(Comfort).

13. Building a mosque over the grave.

14. One minute of silence.

15. Keeping flowers or candles at the grave.

16. Burying the dead with the Quran, Tasbih, etc.

17. Inappropriate grave style.

When the Prophet (ﷺ) went to bed at night, he would put his hand under his cheek and then say:

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

(In Your Name, O Allah, I die and I live)

Bukhari 6314

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to lay his head upon his right hand when going to sleep, then say:

اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ

(O Allah, save me from Your punishment on the Day that You resurrect Your slaves)

Tirmidhi 3399

The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Whenever you go to bed perform ablution like that for the prayer, lie or your right side and say:

اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلاَ مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ

(O Allah, I submit myself to You, entrust my affairs to You, turn my face to You, and lay myself down depending upon You, hoping in You and fearing You. There is no refuge, and no escape, except to You. I believe in Your Book (the Qur'an) that You revealed, and the Prophet whom You sent)

Then if you die on that very night, you will die with faith (i.e. or the religion of Islam).
