2022-06-15 19:30:29 From the etiquettes of going to sleep, we should:

Be in a state of purity: "If you come to your bed, then perform Wudoo'."

Sleep on our right side:
".... Then lie down on your right side."

Place the right hand under the right cheek:

"When He ﷺ went to sleep, he placed his right hand under his right cheek."

Dust the bed:

"When one of you goes to bed, let him dust the bed because he does not know what comes into it before or after him."

● {صحيح البخاري كتاب الأدعية ٦٣٢٠، صحيح مسلم كتاب ذكرى الأدعية التوبة ٢٧١٤}

Adhkār Before Sleeping:

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من قرأ بالآيتين من آخر سورة البقرة ‏في ليلة كفتاه.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the last two verses of Sūrah al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him.”

● [رواه البخاري ومسلم]

Ibn al-Qayyim Raḥimahullāh said: “Suffice him for any evil that may harm him.”

● [الوابل الصيب ١٣٢]

‘Ā`ishah رضي الله عنها reported: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would get ready for sleep, he would blow into his hands, recite the two chapters of refuge (Sūrah al-Falaq and Sūrah an-Nās), and he would wipe his hands over his body.”

the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one body, so that, if any part of the body is not well then the whole body shares the sleeplessness (insomnia) and fever with it.

Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: "The Friday prayer is from the greatest of congregations of the Muslims."

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ❝Increase in salutations upon me, on the day of Friday (Jumu'ah) and its night.❞

● [زاد المعاد ٢\٤٢٠]

Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of prayers with Allāh is the prayer of morning (Fajr) on the Day of Friday in congregation.”

2022-06-09 11:30:59 Why Should I Give People Gifts?

Concern 1 | They don't give me Gifts, Why Should I

It is Rasul Allahﷺ's Sunnah + he suggested it
It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said:

The Messenger of Allahﷺ would accept gifts and reciprocate for them.

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2585).

Rasul Allahﷺ
“Exchange gifts with one another, you will love one another.”
al-Adab al- Mufrad | Graded as Hasan



Concern 2 | They don't give me any thing I like
Rasul Allahﷺ warned us
Messenger of Allahﷺ used to say:

“O Muslim women, no woman should look down on a gift given by her neighbour, even if it is the meat from a sheep’s foot(something insignificant).”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2566) and Muslim (1030).

Women are addressed directly سبحان الله



Concern 3 | I don't want their gifts, Can I give those back to them
Rasul Allahﷺ forbade it
Prophetﷺ said:

“Accept invitations, do not refuse gifts and do not beat the Muslims.”

Narrated by Ahmad in al-Musnad (1/404), Classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani



Concern 4 | Can I take my gift back cuz I don't like them anymore

Rasul Allahﷺ forbade it
It is not permissible for a man to give a gift then take it back, except a father with regard to what he gives to his son.

Narrated by at-Tirmidhi in al-Jaami‘ as-Saheeh (2132).

2022-06-09 03:30:41 Tawheed Is The Key To Paradise


Shamsuddeen Muhammad Bin Abee Bakr Ibn Qayyim Aj-Jawzeeyah [D. 751 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said:

❝Since Shirk is the greatest of the three aspects to Allaah [عز و جل] then He has prohibited Paradise for the people of Shirk.

So the Mushrik will not enter Paradise, rather only the people of Tawheed will enter it, because Tawheed is the key to its door.

So whoever does not have with him a key then its door does not open and likewise if one comes with a key which has no teeth then the door will not open.❞

"Tawheed is actually the most precious medicine.
If a drop of this medicine was laid upon a mountain of sins and disobedience, they'd be

2022-06-08 19:30:39 *A verse from the Qur’an that is an arrow through the heart of the oppressor and a solace upon the heart of the oppressed.. *

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا

“..*Your Lord is never forgetful*” (Surah Maryam, 19:64)

Sometimes in our times of need and loneliness we become concerned that despite our supplications, our situation remains.
Know that Allāh never forgets, and is all-*Wise* and *Just*.

*So be patient with His plan and seek comfort in His beautiful words and remembrance, knowing that Allāh has always been, and will always be, watching over you with ultimate justice. *

"Whoever does good, must know that it is Allāh, who allowed him to do so, and whoever is protected from evil, must know that it is Allāh, who protected him."
