Knowledge & Ignorance are not equal

Regarding the excellence of knowledge and the people of knowledge, Allaah – Subhana wa Ta’aala – negated equality between the people of knowledge and other than them.

Just like He negated equality between, the companions of Paradise and the companions of the Hell-fire.

Allaah Ta’aala said:

<< Say: “Are those who know equal to those who know not?” >> [ Zumar :9 ]

He also said:

<< Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise >> [ Hashr :20 ]

This indicates the elevated excellence of the people of knowledge and their distinguished nobility.

2022-06-20 19:30:50 Long list of things Allah Ta’ala says will happen in the Quran if you have Taqwa

1. Want knowledge?

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۖ وَیُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ
And have taqwa of Allah.
And Allah teaches you.
[Surah Al-Baqarah 282]

2. Want a way out to be made for you even when there is no way out?

وَمَن یَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ یَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مَخۡرَجࣰا
And whoever has taqwa of Allah -  He will make for him a way out
[Surah At-Talaq 2]

3. Want your affairs in life to be made easier?

وَمَن یَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ یَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ یُسۡرࣰا
And whoever has taqwa of Allah -  He will make for him of his matter ease.
[Surah At-Talaq 4]

4. Want sins removed and gain great rewards?

وَمَن یَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ یُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَیِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَیُعۡظِمۡ لَهُۥۤ أَجۡرًا
And whoever has taqwa of Allah -  He will remove for him his misdeeds and make great for him his reward.
[Surah At-Talaq 5]

5. Want success?

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ
And have taqwa of Allah that you may succeed.
[Surah Al-Baqarah 189] and in two other places in the Quran

6. Want Allah Ta’ala to be with you?

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ
And that have taqwa of Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.
[Surah Al-Baqarah 194]

7. Want Allah's mercy?

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ
And have taqwa of Allah that you may receive mercy.
[Surah Al-Hujurat 10]

8. Want to be able to distinguish between right and wrong, and to have sins removed and be forgiven?

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِن تَتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ یَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ فُرۡقَانࣰا وَیُكَفِّرۡ عَنكُمۡ سَیِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَیَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ
O you who have believed, if you have taqwa of Allah, He will grant you a criterion and will remove from you your misdeeds and forgive you.
[Surah Al-Anfal 29]

9. Want to be saved by a painful torment?

(ثُمَّ نُنَجِّی ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ فِیهَا جِثِیࣰّا)
Then We will save those who have taqwa of Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.
[Surah Maryam 72]

10. Want Paradise?

(تِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِی نُورِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِیࣰّا)
That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who had taqwa of Allah .
[Surah Maryam 63]

11. Want no fear or grief?

(أَلَاۤ إِنَّ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ ٱللَّهِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یَحۡزَنُونَ ۝  ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ یَتَّقُونَ)
Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and had taqwa of Allah
[Surah Yunus 62 - 63]

12. Want the reward of the Hereafter?

(وَلَأَجۡرُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ یَتَّقُونَ)
And the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believed and had taqwa of Allah .
[Surah Yusuf 57]

13. Want to be saved by Allah Ta’ala?

(وَأَنجَیۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ یَتَّقُونَ)
And We saved those who believed and used to have taqwa of Allah .
[Surah An-Naml 53]

14. Want to fulfill the commandant of Allah Ta’ala?

وَلَقَدۡ وَصَّیۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَإِیَّاكُمۡ أَنِ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ
And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to have taqwa of Allah .
[Surah An-Nisa' 131]

Note: This is only about the good outcome for those with Taqwa, there are many other verses that mention Taqwa that haven't been mentioned here.Subhān’Allāh.

It is reported that Ḥudhayfah – Allāh be pleased with him – was asked:

“What is the worst fitnah?” He replied, “That good and evil is presented to you and you do not know which of them to follow.”
