SUKNYA SAMRIDHI YOJNA(SSY)

It was launched by Pm Modi on 22jan 2015 in Panipat Haryana as a part of Beti Bachao, Beti padhao campaign.
The scheme comes with income tax benefit under section -- 80 c
A/c can be opened in the name of a girl till the age of 10yrs.
A birth certificate is mandatory.
A/c can be opened in the post office and branch of the Authorised bank.
Ac can be opened with a minimum of 250 Rs and thereafter any amount in multiples of 100.
Max 1,50,000 can be deposit in FY.
The account allows 50% withdrawal after the age of 18yrs for higher education.
Maturity after 21 yrs from opening.
15 yrs deposit, 21yrs total amt received.Around 7.6% interest p.a

The Padma Awards are one of the highest civilian Awards in India.

They are conferred in three categories namely:-
Padma Vibhushan.
Padma Bhushan.
Padma Shri.

The awards are announced every year on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26.
