After Update 2.117.1 released, Agents noticed that the usual pop-up reminding people to stay aware of their surroundings etc. was removed. After being unsure if this was a bug, Brian confirmed that the removal was intentional as the message is still shown under the Ingress logo during startup. He reminds Agents to continue to be aware of your surroundings even without the help of the pop-up.
