Earlier today in-between our discussions about Islam and diffe | Matters

Earlier today in-between our discussions about Islam and different opinions on it, my 9 year old told me this straight into my eyes:

I sometimes too think what you are telling me is so that I would be nice, listen to you and so that you and daddy would be in comfort. And that all of it could be a lie. I think so 1% and 99% I do believe in God.

The subject matter aside, I got beyond thrilled and absolutely happy for he could express himself so well, he was thinking for himself and he could even use percentages when doing so

This is really happening and I had to make a note of reflection here. It will be a blink of an eye before he'll start making his own decisions. I guess it will be hard after all to come to terms with it ) Oh, boy!
