There is a theory that the globalist plan is to make national governments look incompetent, or drive public opinion against them, so that they will collapse and be replaced with globalist governance. The theory goes that this is why covid and the vaccine were done, so as to discredit the national governments, and specifically that the vaccine will cause a high death toll, thus causing the public to overthrow their national governments.
I don't buy this theory.
1) I doubt that a high death toll from the vaccine WOULD cause the public to overthrow their national governments.
2) If it did, the last people the public would put in charge would be globalist institutions, since everyone knows they are just as responsible for covid/vax as the national governments (if not even
more responsible).
3) Since when did the powerful rely on public opinion anyway?
4) Such a change-over is not even necessary, since we already have global governance today, so there is no need for them to obliterate national governments. Indeed, it is useful if these are retained as a decoy for people to pointlessly appeal to and/or direct their anger towards.
Conclusion: it makes no sense for them to want the downfall of national governments. If there is a collapse coming, they will want the national governments to remain so as to take the heat, both then and in the long term - but having no actual power. But if this is so, nothing much will be different from the way things are now, so what then is the point of engineering "collapse"? I can only think that, as with covid, the primary purpose would be to alter the public's expectations of life.
