2022-08-30 22:57:28 Good End to Life isn’t limited to dying in the Masjid while praying or while holding the Qur’an.

The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه and many of the righteous died on their beds .

A good ending to life is to die upon Islam and Iman, to die and you don’t owe anyone anything, to die with longing to meet Allah in your heart.

These are matters we should be working on in order to prepare for a good death.

May Allah ﷻ grant us a good ending.

Why Do I Give My Money
It’s my hard-earned wealth

Reason 1 | To Get More Rizq from Allah

“Allah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’"
Bukhari, 5073; Muslim, 993


Reason 2 | To Get Du'as of Angels

“There is no day on which the people get up but two angels come down and one of them says,
‘O Allah, give in compensation to the one who spends (in charity),’
and the other says,
‘O Allah, destroy the one who withholds.’”
Bukhari, 1374; Muslim, 1010


Reason 3 | To Get Greater Rewards

A man came to the Prophet and said: “O Messenger of Allah, which charity brings a greater reward?”

He said, “If you give in charity when you are healthy and miserly, fearing poverty and hoping for richness.

Do not delay until you are at the point of death and you say, ‘Give this to So and so, give this to So and so,’ …”
Bukhari, 1330; Muslim, 1713

Recite Qur’an even if you stammer & stumble on Arabic words!

Prophetﷺ said:

Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels.

And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE the reward.”

Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim

Let's not skip recitation of the Qur’an even if you think you can't recite well...

Let’s analyse ourselves in the light of Surah al-Hujuraat


1- فتبينوا:
"Fa Tabayyano":
Investigate: If you receive any information about anyone, please confirm otherwise you may harm people out of ignorance.


2 - فأصلحوا:
"Fa Asliho"
Make settlement: between your brothers as believers are brothers.


3- وأقسطوا:
"Wa Aqsito":
Act justly: whenever there is a dispute try for settlement and act justly among both parties as Allah loves who acts justly.


4 - لا يسخر:
"La Yaskhar":
Don't ridicule people, perhaps they may be better than you in the Sight of Allah.


5 - ولا تلمزوا:
"Wa La Talmizo":
Do not insult: one another.


6-ولا تنابزوا:
"Wa La Tanabazu":
Don’t call each other with offensive nicknames


7- اجتنبوا كثيرا من الظن:
"Ijtanibu Katheeran minazZan"
Aviod negative assumptions, indeed some of the assumptions are sin.


8 - ولا تجسسوا:
"Wa La Tajassasu"
Don’t spy on each other.


9- ولا يغتب بعضكم بعضا:
"Wa La Yagtab":
Don’t backbite each other: as its a major sin and like eating your dead brother's flesh.
