Their critical nature on our ways and on the entire orientation of society is aguably their most important common ground. philosophy does not concern itself with its presentation to the consumer but only on its substance. which is also quite true for paintings of actual value. by the absolute disregard for how it is recieved by consumers comes a piece of the utmost authentic sincerity; whether a philosophical treatise or a painting that grips. staying true to oneself and not to the fancy of others would be a shorter way of saying it.
