In celebration producer, record label owner and hip-hop legend ILL Bill will kick off the launch with an exclusive music NFT release, titled: ILL Bill - Silk Road ft. Lord Goat (Produced by ILL Bill)!

The auction for ILL Bill’s “Silk Road ft. Lord Goat” began Monday, March 1st at 9pm CET and will last for 7 days, ending at 9pm CET on March 8th. Bids will be accepted in SOUL, the utility token of the Phantasma blockchain, which is traded on Kucoin and Uniswap.

2021-03-01 00:53:29 Poltergeist v2.2.0 for desktop is now live!

Note: This is a mandatory upgrade to be able to take part in the NFT auctions going live on Phantasma in the immediate future, so please make sure you update as soon as possible, v2.2.0 for Android will arrive at the Play Store shortly.

Important for Mac OSX users:
- Before installing new 2.2.0 version on Mac, open "Wallet Management" screen by pressing "Manage" button on Poltergeist's 2.0.x/2.1.x main screen
- Click "Export" button and "Confirm" until you have your wallet backup copied into the clipboard (using password for backup is recommended for wallet safety). You can paste it in the file to store it safely.
- After launching new 2.2.0 version open "Wallet Management" again and press "Import" button and paste backup data into dialog's input field. After that complete the import and press "Save and Close".

We are happy to announce that maintenance has concluded and the chain is humming like always - but even more robust and with even better tools available than before!

This maintenance has seen a rich number of improvements to cross chain swaps going live, as well as implementation of the much anticipated NFT auction capabilities.

On top of that, further enhancements to synchronization, APIs and more were able to find their way into the current sprint.

2021-02-26 17:44:29 Dafi partners with Phantasma to offer Phantasma network-pegged sythetic tokens. For those new to synthetics, these are tokens pegged to the original asset, such as a dSOUL token pegged to the value of the original SOUL token.

Dafi aims to solve issues related to inflation in decentralized economies through use of synthetic assets and oracle powered distributed bounty mechanics with rolling pegs between synthetic and original assets.

Users earn rewards, and they can extract the maximum amount of tokens from their rewards by doing so during periods of high demand, while minimizing the potential negative impact during periods of low demand.

We have reached the conclusion of the current development sprint, and are ready to implement a whole host of optimizations and some exciting feature additions.

The most exciting feature addition having been implemented and thoroughly tested during this sprint is the NFT auction capabilities. Expect a flurry of auctions shortly after the maintenance has concluded - and make sure you don't miss out on your favourite items!

Auctions will be going live a short while after maintenance has concluded, once GhostMarket has performed its final checks and is fully in sync with the new features. Leading up to auctions going live, multiple artists have been creating artwork and music that is truly stunning - and we are proud that so many are choosing to share their creations on Phantasma and GhostMarket!

On Friday the 26th of February at 1pm UTC - a few hours from now - a maintenance / upgrade session will commence. This period is expected to last for less than 36 hours, and will finish well before the memeunity presale is set to commence. During this time all pending upgrades will be deployed, and post deployment verification testing will be carried out. While in maintenance the chain will be in read only mode, and SOULdiers should hold off on attempting to execute transactions until the all clear is given.
