Over the last couple of years Phantasma has delivered a complex and feature rich technological backbone for gaming, dApps and Smart NFTs. Already we have interoperability with three other blockchains, full smart contract functionality, on–chain storage, oracles and the most advanced Smart NFT functionality in the industry.

With new a new chain integration comes new cross chain asset swapping abilities!

Binance Smart Chain is extremely similar to Ethereum in many ways, including using the same address format and the same Ethereum Virtual Machine. Hence, swapping assets between Phantasma and Binance Smart Chain works the same as our Ethereum swaps (although faster).

Please keep in mind that you need the latest wallet versions (Ecto v1.3.1 or Poltergeist v2.6.1) to be able to take advantage of the Phantasma - Binance Smart Chain swapping capabilites.

Phantasma is ready to breach the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem, integration to go live September 30th!

Along with the upgrade, new versions of Ecto wallet (already live) and Poltergeist (v2.6 to be released along with the BSC integration) will be supplied to take advantage of the new functionality.

Very shortly after Binance Smart Chain has been integrated and assets flow across Phantasma and BSC, $SOUL and $KCAL will be tradeable on PancakeSwap. For those planning to contribute to the liqudity pools, this is the time to get your assets ready!

Phantasma Pharming - our unique way of incentivizing liquidity provisioning on DEXes across Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain - is undergoing rigorous testing, and will go live as soon as our devs are 100% satisfied!

A word of caution: Please DO NOT attempt to perform trades on PancakeSwap until contract addresses and pool links have been officially announced. PancakeSwap, like Uniswap, is a permissionless DEX which means it's vulnerable to bad actors listing scam tokens trying to fool traders into buying worthless assets.

On Thursday Sept 30th at 7am UTC a maintenance / upgrade session will commence. This period is expected to last less than 15 hours.

During the maintenance there will be service interruptions while nodes upgrade to the latest code, and due to the cross chain swap architecture being upgraded users should not attempt to perform cross chain swaps during this time. While in maintenance the chain will be in read only mode, and SOULdiers should hold off on attempting to execute transactions until the all clear is given.
