I searched for God, after you broke my heart.
I had nothing to do, nothing to drown all the pain you brought me.
I failed to build my walls strong, strong enough to keep you away,
And when you came in, you scattered everything I was putting together.
Temptation was my drug, and regrets like the pain of cocaine withdrawal,
Took me straight to church, looking for bowl to unload my burden.
I found Him today, healed my pains.
Gave me a new beginning, though funny won't wipe my love for you.
Well I guess I'm still going to break when I see with him.
I searched for God and I found everything possible and, I saw all I needed.
Grasped it like a thief and hid it in me so fast, I bet God himself wondered why.
I yet I just can't seem to shake away your beautiful smile, can't stop myself​ from loving you
