A WORD TO MINISTRY LEADERS AND THOSE WHO CARRY KINGDOM AUTHORITY
DO NOT TOLERATE THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT
The JEZEBEL spirit seeks access to true and authentic authority established by God in the earth. This spirit can work through men or women. It’s primary goal is to gain access to the platform and resources of their target.
The person operating in a Jezebel spirit often uses excessive flattery, compliments, acts of false kindness, offers to help, and will use any other tactic it can to manipulate its way into a position of influence with the leader.
This spirit is methodical in its operations and is patient in the pursuit of its objectives. Once the person operating in this spirit gains trust through a false representation of its true intentions, it squirms its way into a position of influence in the local church, house meeting, prayer group, online group, or whatever movement it has targeted. Once it has gained access it begins to undermine the true authority in subtle ways. It whispers and makes comments that cause doubt and division in the group. Sometimes it will work to gain favor with other people to slowly build trust with them so that eventually it can turn the people against the leader. The closer it gets to the leader the more it becomes jealous and envious of those who have been given this platform by God and it despises their anointing and authority.
The Jezebel Spirit wants to kill that movement and the leaders in charge, but often the person in whom the spirit is operating genuinely loves the people it is attacking. In other words: The person often genuinely loves you, but the spirit that is influencing them wants to kill you. It is a very bizarre thing to deal with. This is why the demonic spirit of manipulation and confusion arise when this spirit is at work. Because there is a double mindedness working. It is challenging to figure it out because you discern one thing but then in the natural there are also signs of good intentions. It is like a double headed snake.
The signs to look out for that might point that you have a Jezebel spirit operating in your midst are:
⁃ Constant Confusion and problems focusing
⁃ Battling with perverted thoughts and lustful thoughts and dreams that seem to come out of nowhere
⁃ Healthy boundaries not being respected
⁃ Feelings of oppression, depression and other ungodly thoughts.
⁃ You feel stuck and powerless
⁃ Difficulty with spiritual vision & sight
⁃ Freak accidents and attacks against your health and well-being
These are some of the signs that you could be dealing with a Jezebel Spirit.
Pray and ask The Lord to reveal any people that are operating in these spirits. You cannot tolerate it and must remove it immediately.
“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: ‘The words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze. “‘I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.
But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works, and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.”
