2021-03-26 18:47:42 Niantic just announce another global Virtual NL-1331 event on “3.31” from Tue, Mar 30 16:00 UTC to Apr 1 16:00 UTC.

A successful glyph hacking any portal will add NL-1331 Tiered Meetups Medal by one.
Default yellow Prime avatar will temporarily be replaced with NL-1331X avatar.
Glyph hack sequences of NL-1331 will return.

And new 2021 NL-1331 Birthday Kit 2.0 will be out as early as next week too!

2021-03-19 12:48:44 Earlier today we got word that the popular website IngressMosaic.com went black with a goodbye message from it's owner.

IngressMosaic was host to 60.000 Ingress banners worldwide and was used by many players as a source of information for walking banners. As the administrator says in his goodbye message on the frontpage that he has shifted away from Ingress for a long time and thinks a website like IngressMosaic deserves more and he can not provide that anymore. 2021-03-19 09:46:39 There is an IMPORTANT UPDATE regarding the Optima Kinetic Challenge:
Niantic has discovered two visual issues with the temporary Kinetic Capsule Programs.

Issue #1: The JARVIS Program is currently displayed as ADA Refactor. Materials required are not affected, and the output will generate 1 JARVIS Virus; however, the Program title and the item is displayed incorrectly.

Issue #2: When claiming the 8 L8 Resonators Program and the 2 Hypercube Program, the Kinetic Capsule animation will display only “x1” item has been crafted. In reality, x8 L8 Resonators and x2 Hypercubes have been crafted and added to your Inventory.

The output is not effected!

At the second Optima Kinetic Challenge event, silver and gold will be added to the Optima medal.
