Uplifting Lower-Wage Workers

Over the next two years, we will uplift our lower-wage workers by:
extending the Progressive Wage Model to new sectors and occupations
requiring companies employing foreign workers to pay all their local employees at least the Local Qualifying Salary
enhancing the Workfare Income Supplement Scheme

The Govt will introduce the Progressive Wage Credit Scheme to provide transitional support for employers in implementing these Progressive Wage moves.
