[Important Notice] Enforcement of FET/RRT testing regime from 29/11/2021

Dear Deliveroo Riders,

As announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on 6 Sep 2021, the mandatory Fast and Easy Test (FET) Rostered Routine Testing (RRT) regime was extended to food delivery personnel and other segments, in addition to the Vaccinate or Regular Test (VoRT) regime which was previously announced in August. This is aimed at helping to detect and ringfence infections in the community early and further reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

Since Oct 2021, food delivery platforms, including Deliveroo, have scheduled delivery partners for testing slots at Quick Test Centres (QTC). Following the easing in period, platforms will start enforcing the testing regime from 29 Nov 2021. Partners will be required to obtain an Ag- result in order to continue performing deliveries. As a reminder, Partners are strongly encouraged to adhere to the appointment slots sent to you, and to turn up for testing at the QTC. Failure to go for testing may result in disciplinary action. Vaccinated delivery partners are required to be tested once a week while unvaccinated delivery partners are required to be tested twice weekly. For Partners who are unvaccinated by choice (i.e. not because you are medically ineligible for mRNA vaccines), your second test each week will be payable at the QTC.

Deliveroo has onboarded to the SYNC platform to more easily allow you to share your QTC test data across employers and platforms and we highly encourage you to add Deliveroo (Organisation Code: DELIVEROO) as a recipient. Additional information on SYNC will be provided later today.

Please refer to the FAQs for more details: https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/covid-19-faqs/for-sector-specific-queries/delivery-transportation.

Thank you for your cooperation in complying with the testing regime as we continue our fight against COVID-19.

Ride safe,
Team Deliveroo
