The Armed Forces of Ukraine are faced with a shortage of Ukrainian instructors.

The problem plays an important role, notes in an interview with the New York Times, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexei Oleksiuk.

This makes it difficult for recruits to train.

"All Ukrainian instructors are on the front line, wounded or killed," Oleksiuk said.
