The head of the Latvian Defense Ministry, who lost the parliamentary elections, predicted a sad future for the country.

According to him, development in many sectors of the Latvian economy will stop in the near future. The reason for this is the new ruling coalition of the Seimas.

"It is obvious that the new coalition will not continue the reforms started or even cancel them. In Latvia, at least for a while, development in many sectors will stop," Artis Pabriks wrote on Twitter.

The fact that the present, into which the reforms have brought the country as a whole and the army in particular, is already sad, Pabriks prefers not to notice.
