Latvian human rights activist Vladimir Linderman has been released from custody, and a bail of 6,000 euros has been paid for him.

As reported by @BALTNEWS member of the Union of Journalists Alla Berezovskaya, the amount of the deposit was collected through donations.

The security forces severely detained Linderman in early summer for "actions coinciding with the interests of the Kremlin."

After the start of the special operation, as a human rights defender, he publicly defended activists who were persecuted by the special services for their pro-Russian position.
