Their answer?

To keep you safe, I would suggest:

1. Create an anonymous email account that has no connection to your RL identity and link that to your social media accounts.

2. Either get a burner phone or use a made up phone number for your social media accounts IF they require one. Don't use 2 factor authentication.

3. Never use your real name, face, location.

4. Use a VPN while doing social media. Change VPN servers at least twice a day.
NEVER use any of the countries below:
US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, France, Holland, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Spain.

5. On Desktop, in addition to using a VPN, use social media in "Private Mode", so your browser can't be tracked based on your browsing history.

6. Reboot your home router every 24 hours; this refreshes the IP addresses used by your system that is provided by your ISP; simply turn off your router at bedtime and then turn it back on when you get up.

We find that even when minimally configured and the handset is idle both iOS and Google Android share data with Apple/Google on average every 4.5 mins.

The phone IMEI, hardware serial number, SIM serial number and IMSI, handsetphone number etc are shared with Apple and Google. Both iOS and Google Android transmit telemetry, despite the user explicitly opting out of this.

When a SIM is inserted both iOS and Google Android send details to Apple/Google. iOS sends the MAC addresses of nearby devices, e.g. other handsets and the home gateway, to Apple together with their GPS location. Currently there are few, if any, realistic options for preventing this data sharing.

I’ve been warning about this for a long time and now it’s here.
BigTech, and specifically Youtube, have painted a target on Conservative’s backs for years, with yours truly being target #1.
Today, Google/Youtube just fired a HUGE shot across our bow. They are no longer enforcing “community guidelines,” but creating entirely new ones with the express purpose of removing any and all Conservative voices of dissent.
For the crime of investigative journalism, we are forbidden from uploading, posting or live-streaming for an entire week on the main channel.
Don’t worry, we’ve got something for them... :)
