Domestic Markets:
The BSE Sensex declined 215 points to 54,893, while the Nifty50 slipped 60 points to 16,356 on June 8 and formed a bearish candle on the daily charts. Among sectors, the Realty index was the lead gainer with a 1.89% rally and the Media index was up by 1.49%. Whereas the FMCG & INFRA indices have shown weakness and closed down by 1.05% & 0.80%. The realty index has formed a bullish reversal candlestick pattern near a strong support zone of 20 simple which is placed around 396 marks.

Global Markets:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 269.24 points, or 0.81%, to 32,910.9; the S&P 500 lost 44.91 points, or 1.08%, to 4,115.77; and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 88.96 points, or 0.73%, to 12,086.27. The S&P 500 ended down more than 1% in the broad sell-off, snapping a two-day winning streak. Shares of Intel Corp slid 5.3 percent and was the biggest loser of the day. This was after Citi cut its estimates on the chipmaker for the second time in a week. Citi is of the opinion that uncertainty about the demand for personal computers could lead the company to pre-announce weaker-than-expected earnings for the second quarter.

Technical Outlook:
On the third trading session of the week, the Nifty opened the gap up at 16475, first made a high of 16514, then made a low of 16293, and closed at 16356 levels and the Sensex closed down by 0.39%. After a gap up opening nifty trying to climb above 16500 marks but couldn't be sustained. But the correction has been seen in afternoon due to inflation concerns and weakness in European counterparts pulled down the index below 16,400. On 30 min chart, a nifty completed bullish reversal bat harmonic pattern, the potential reversal zone is placed in the range of 16318-16310. Below this 20 simple DMA is placed around 16260. Short term trend remains bullish as long as it's trading above the same levels. As per the pivot charts, the key support level for the Nifty is placed at 16272, followed by 16246. If the index moves up, the key resistance levels to watch out for are 16441 and 16467. Open / Comment

Tata Power: Tata Power Solar Systems has commissioned a 450 MW DC capacity solar pant for Brookfield Renewable India.

Tech Mahindra: The company has entered into share subscription agreement to acquire 26% equity stake in Huoban Energy 6 for Rs 1.6 crore.

Vedanta: The encumbrances created by the company on its 64.92% stake in Hindustan Zinc in the form of a pledge has been released.

Tata Steel: The firm has acquired 16.5 crore 12.17% non-cumulative, non-convertible, non-Participating, redeemable preference shares of TRF Ltd. for Rs 165 crore.

Indian Oil: The company has signed a long-term agreement with US-based Air Products & Chemicals Inc. The American company will build, own, and operate a new industrial gases complex supplying hydrogen, nitrogen and steam to Indian Oil's Barauni refinery in Bihar.

Bank of India: The bank raised its repo-based lending rate from 7.25% to 7.75% with immediate effect.

Punjab National Bank: The bank raised repo-linked lending rate from 6.90% to to 7.40% effective June 9.

Wipro: The company along with ServiceNow will help Brazil’s largest publicly traded company, Petrobras SA, to advance its digital journey.

IL&FS Transportation: Khed Sinnar Expressway, a subsidiary, has received a settlement sum of Rs 736.07 crores from NHAI. Open / Comment
