Cantwell then says that the reason he keeps talking and has been going so hard is that he wants to show the ridiculousness of this show trial. He is now in the middle of possibly the greatest speech ever given in a courtroom. He holds up freedom of speech in America, and condemns the plaintiffs for their underhanded legalise.

Cantwell is spitting fire, the fact that this is not on video is a great tragedy. We do not see how the jury or anyone could be unmoved by this.
