On 8-9 May we all as one celebrate Peace and pay tribute to the memories of those who lost their lives during the Second World War II. Let the lessons of it remind us about immeasurable price of the war and make us to do everything possible to preserve peace and harmony in the world.

The United Nations was founded in 1945, on the ashes of the World War II, and was established to ensure unity and harmony among nations. As envisaged in the United Nations Charter, it was founded to “save succeeding generations from the scourge of war”.
