Another unusual application of DALL-E 2: artist Zack Katz uses a neural network to show what different busy streets with cars would look like if they were pedestrianized or turned into public spaces.

As a result, the artist has hundreds of requests from all over the world, from Thailand to Canada, to redesign streets using AI.

Well, this is some kind of fraud. Billiards in augmented reality turns everything into a computer game, where you can accurately calculate the trajectory of the ball bounce.

Stanford University researchers developed OceanOneK, a humanoid diving robot. The robot is equipped with haptic feedback technology, so the operator can feel the resistance of the water and the contours of found artifacts. The robot also has three-dimensional vision and eight multidirectional motors that help it carefully maneuver in places where fragile shipwrecks are located.

OceanOneK has already worked on real underwater objects: it explored the sunken aircraft Beechcraft Baron F-GDPV, Italian steamship Le Francesco Crispi, a second century Roman ship off the coast of Corsica, a World War II P-38 Lightning aircraft and the submarine Le Protée.

Scientists in South Korea have developed a tattoo for health monitoring. The tattoo ink, made from liquid metal and carbon nanotubes, is applied over the skin and functions like a bioelectrode. Connected to an electrocardiogram device or other biosensor, it can send data about the patient's heart rate and other vital signs, such as blood sugar levels.

Because the tattoo is made of liquid metal, it will not wear off or fade over time and the patient can have absolutely any design on him or her.

Chinese robot cleaner: perfectly cleans a room without leaving a speck of dust. However, it only works according to a pre-made room map - if you're rearranging the room, it won't do the job.

Canadian startup Horizon Aircraft unveiled a 1:2 scale working model of the Cavorite X5 eVTOL aircraft.

The Cavorite X5's unique design features fixed wings like conventional airplanes and built-in fans that hide under each wing. In cruising mode the Cavorite X5 relies on the same mechanisms as other electric airplanes, and during takeoff and landing it engages the rotors.

A paralyzed racer can start a car with 850 horsepower with the power of his mind. Aldan Zuniga was in a car accident in 2013, which left him paralyzed from the waist down. But nine years later, he was back behind the wheel, thanks to a neuro-implant developed by American doctors and engineers.

This is a car control system based on two chips: one embedded in the driver's brain, the other in the car. The microchip transmits electrical signals from the brain to the computer, which interprets them and triggers the appropriate mechanisms in the car. The driver also wears a helmet, which is responsible for turning by picking up head movements, and Aldan's braking is aided by a breathing tube attached to the helmet.
