A delegation from the National Defense College of Nigeria participated, on Wednesday (8), in lectures held at the Ministry of Defense (MD) of Brazil. The meeting is an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge about joint missions executed by Brazilian military organizations, about strategic planning, as well as aspects of the national defense industry and foreign policy.

The Nigerian delegation, composed of 27 participants, included civilians and general and senior officers from the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Congo, Nepal and Chad. The academic work was carried out according to the work plan established by the institutions for the biennium 2021-2022 and the research group was composed by EGN's professors, Ezute's professionals and the masters students from the Graduate Program in Maritime Studies at the Naval War College (PPGEM-EGN) Ana Carolina Dias Terra and Vivian de Mattos Marciano, who are scholars from the Foundation. 2022-06-10 17:26:28 EZUTE participates in tests during navigation of Submarine Riachuelo

In April this year, Fundação Ezute participated in the execution of tests aboard the Riachuelo, the first of the class of submarines with diesel-electric propulsion of the Submarine Development Program (PROSUB). The tests took place during the submarine's navigation along the southern coast of Rio de Janeiro.

In all, 4 units are under production in Itaguaí through the strategic partnership between Brazil and France.

This event is a milestone for Ezute, which has been working on PROSUB since 2011 as a knowledge and technology absorber related to systems engineering, software development and integration of the submarine's Combat System.

The Foundation's Systems Engineer, Robson Cáceres, was the organization's representative in these tests, which comprise an important phase of the submarine's acceptance by the Brazilian Navy.

"For us at Ezute, the participation in the execution of these most recent tests attests to the capabilities obtained by our collaborators in previous phases of the project, both in Brazil and in France, allowing us to use the experience we gained in this important milestone of the transfer project, in which we relate directly with the Naval Group and the Brazilian Navy," he explains.
