I don't know why but I choked up before I even got to answer. Trust me, this is one of the hardest questions to give answer to.

Am I really fine? There are times when I don't feel like socializing, days when I don't feel like talking to anyone, and nights when I cry myself to sleep. There are moments when a sudden rush of sadness loom over me without any reason, and when I do, I immediately lose each ounce of joy I feel.

But when I am around people like him, those who truly and genuinely care for me, I can't help but feel overwhelmed. They keep me going, they inspire me to help myself to get better.

I smiled. "I'm good. I may not feel better than yesterday, but I still know and believe that I will feel better tomorrow or the next day after that. So, thank you. For staying with me at my lowest."
