"Why didn’t anyone tell us about the 20s crisis when we were young? Why did they tell us that when university ends, our life starts and takes off very well from there? Why did they paint rainbows and butterflies to our life post graduation?
I’ve heard of mid-life crisis and was well aware of what happens in “early teens”. But this, this -I have no clue- phase is not fun. No, absolutely not fun. One day is up, the next day is down. One day, I figured it out, the next day is back to square zero. One day life is perfect, next day is I want to quit life. One day, I have the perfect job, next day is I made wrong career decisions. One day is I picked the right major, next day my major was my life’s worst decision. One day I’m doing an MBA, 10 masters and 5 PHDs, next day, I’m done with education. One day, I can’t wait to have a family, next day is happily single forever.
You know what’s funny? Society expects us to figure out everything in our 20s and live calmly afterwards."
