Unthinkable Beliefs.

2022-05-10 13:01:26 Sometimes, when people tell me they believe in me, I get scared a little. I mean, I appreciate them and I believe in myself, too, but they don't usually see me in my lows. I don't usually share all my little failures to anyone else, all the times when I cry in the shower out of frustration over everything not going right. So, what if I fail them? Because I know I can handle failing myself.

When people tell me they believe in me, I get scared a little. I just hold on to the smile on their faces and the feel of their hands, somehow reassuring me that under blue skies or grey skies, they're with me no matter what. That's what calms my heart.

Confessing to someone is bravery, but choosing to love someone from afar, hoping them to be loved better than the way you can love them hits different. We just have to admit that some things are not for us, that bright stars are just meant to be loved from afar.

People who act like that are so insecure and afraid of commitment that they're unable to develop a true and meaningful connection with another person. I don't do hot and cold. I'm consistent and require consistency in my relationships.

You need to make up your mind: you're either in, or you're out. And if you're out, you will stay out! That applies to all kinds of relationships: friendship, work, or romance. It makes life simple and clear. Less hassle and guesswork, with a smaller group of real human connections, not just lots of names on a contact list.
