Artsakh's Armenians realise the price of peace, the statehood of Artsakh, the right to free and independent life in their historical homeland are absolute values. Even the threat of war cannot force us to abandon them," the statement reads.

The Parliament stressed that "in the framework of the agenda of "peace" between Armenia and Azerbaijan, any negotiation process on the annexation of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, as well as the signing of the document arising from it, will destroy not only the statehood of Artsakh, but also the inalienable right of the people of Artsakh to live in their homeland".

"We demand that the Armenian authorities abandon their current disastrous position and be guided solely by these values. No government has the right under the pretext of peace to an unacceptable status for Artsakh, as well as to lower the negotiating bar of the internationally recognised right to self-determination," the statement reads.
