Organized under the auspices of the Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, the School will bring together an international team of academics and practitioners to train and instruct a group of 14 MA/PhD researchers, practitioners, and civil society leaders in the field of political parties and democracy.

The first element consists of a presentation by a staff member on a specific topic related to the theme of the School. The second element consists of presentations by fellows of their projects (which may, but do not have to be part of their PhD/MA research).

The best papers will be recommended for publication in the Journal of East Asian Studies which will award a prize of $100 to the BEST paper presented at the School.

Project Overview

The research project is qualitative in nature and will contribute to the decolonisation of management and
organisation studies (MOS) from the experiences and perspectives of marginalised women in the Global South.

Scholarship Details

The award will provide a scholarship to support one full-time graduate research student up to a maximum of
four years and include an annual stipend of €16,000 and €2,000 for project costs.

Application Process

Candidates with a passion for the proposed research topic, a high quality academic background and an ability to work independently are encouraged to apply. A Master’s degree in a management discipline or the social sciences and previous research experience are desirable, although quality candidates with an honours undergraduate degree will also be considered.

Application deadline is June 11th at 6pm. Applications should consist of: (1) a cover letter stating interest in the proposed research project and motivation for pursuing doctoral research, (2) a CV detailing academic
qualifications and professional experience, and (3) a piece of written academic work (max. 2,000 words).
