The OSCE Academy offers a research grant of $9,300 (gross) for the position of Research Fellow, for 6 months starting on 1 March 2022 pending the availability of funding. The position will be remote, with occasional travel and optional relocation to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The grant will be paid in four installments towards completion of a 6000-8000 words original research paper on a topic of China affairs in Central Asia.

2021-10-20 08:31:03 Call for Applications: Oxus Fellowship Program!

The Oxus Society for Central Asian Affairs invites applications for a 12-month Fellowship Program as part of a project called “Promoting Knowledge-Driven Solutions by Strengthening Partnerships between Academics and Activists in Central Asia.”

The fellowship program will provide mentoring and training on research and advocacy for academics and activists. Selected fellows will attend a series of workshops on research design, writing policy briefs and running advocacy campaigns with renowned international experts.

The Program will start with a three-day kick-off event and continue with scheduled workshops and mentorship support – all held in virtual format and in the Russian language. The project lasts 12 months and covers Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The deadline for applications is November 18, 2021.
