Yes, we expected higher scores from you. Achievement is achievement though. It is just your first step in a long journey of IELTS. You all nailed it!

Guide to #commonmistakes:
1) Advice.
He gave me an advice/He gave me some advices.
He gave me some advice.
Advice is uncountable. Do not use it with a plural
-s, or with
an. Say
some advice or
a piece of advice.
2) Advise.
I advised her don't go.
I advised her not to go.
A negative idea after
advise uses
not to + infitinive.
P.S. Don't confuse advice and advise. One is noun and another is verb.

She was consumed with anger checking his boyfriend's mobile phone chat history. What emotions are you sometimes consumed with? Drop in the comments! @aplusacademyielts

FUNNY ≠ FUN:
Funny is something that makes you laugh or is comical (ha ha ha!).
Something fun is something you enjoy doing, that makes you happy, but you’re not necessarily laughing.

How do you call a woman who is not married?
P.S. This word has nothing to do with bachelor’s degree

Absolutely collocates only with adjectives which have strong meanings,
e.g. absolutely (NOT very) delighted, very (NOT absolutely) happy. @aplusacademyielts

Would you like to listen to how Band 8.0 candidates speak?
Then watch the interview with Khamdam Kadirov (Overall: 8.0; Speaking: 8.0).
