P1 : What is difference between a Electrical Device and a Electronics Device?
A : Answered based on size , scale , functioning of the devices.

P1 : NPN and PNP Transistor
A : Welcome Back MDI Profs , i was ready this time hehehehe.

P1 : When Is step up transformer used and when is step down transformer used?
A : told about generation to transmission and transmission to household conversion and why it’s done to minimize power losses and running low voltage devices in step down.

P1 : Economics News Around the market
A : Told About Budget , Adani Hindenburg Fiasco and Inflationary issues causing rate hikes in the market.

P1: Root cause of this inflation
A : Told about Covid and Russia Ukraine with Supply chain disruptions.

P1 : What is Quantitative Easing
A : Told

P1 : How was money pumped in the market
A : Talked about lowered interest rates and injecting liquidity in economy for better consumption and production

P1 : Let’s do a guesstimate , Number of People having access to banking credit in India
A: Took around 2-3 Minutes with to and fro discussion and interactive approach.

P1 : So it comes out to be around 15-20 Crore people , Govt is doing all these policies just for these 15-20 Crore People
A: Answered about the multiplying factor and the families having access to credit if the head or earning member has it and how production having access to it has large scale impact.

P1 : What is the Fed fund rate called the term and its meaning
A : EFFR(Effective Fed Fund Rate)

P1 : Why is it called Effective is there an Ineffective rate too
A: Told why it’s called effective because of multiple adjustments and final calibrated rate being that. And smiled on the ineffective part.

P2 : Aman Tell me reason for decline in your scores in academics
A: Prepared answer of how college gaye liberty mili , cheeze explore ki thode immature the but eventually grasped and scores increased which can be seen in the same.

P2 : Tell me what all you did in BITS apart from academics
A: Answered about POR’s , Fests , Clubs Committes and Sports

P2 : What all happened in these POR’s
A : Told about my POR’s and what were my responsibilities in each one of them.

P2 : Did you win anything in extra curriculars?’
A : No Sir I feel I’m jack of All trades and like participating in everything for experiential learning.

P2: Oh so you’re a Joker? (All laughed)
A: Yes sir the one that can be used as a 2 of spades or an Ace hehee.(He smiled)

P2 : So I Feel you went to Kota for JEE Prep?
A : Yes sir

P2 : You failed there and joined BITS is it?
A: told about how I had a AIR of 4K and joined because of the legacy of BITS and a good branch.

P2 : Makes sense but then you failed at EEE in BITS and joined trading and failed there too?
A : Explained How I performed there and about my experiences there.

P2 : Why did you leave trading in 8 Months
A: told them about why after working there I felt I would be better off at other positions and want to work for Business and Product Facing roles also if I leave someone better at the Job would get more opportunity and Capital.

P2 : You lost a lot of money for them is it? You’ve mentioned it in the form too
A : Told about how losing and winning is part of the game and the incident mentioned was one of the worst one that happened and I did make a lot of money for them too.

P2 : So you currently work at Acko what is your designation and How are you doing there?
A : Sir It’s Product Analyst. Told him about my work and how I feel satisfied with the opportunities I got there.

P2 : Now that you’ve finally found your calling why MBA
A: Explained about having technical expertise but lacking some sort of Business acumen and expertise and connected with how MBA would help me reach the place where I want.

Questions:

Introduce yourself.

You studied such a beautiful degree, why change fields?

But lawyers earn so much more at a senior level than managers?

You have a gap in your cv after 2020, why is that?

You are appearing for the upsc interview as well this time, so there is little chance we will see you in our batch. How will you make the decision?

Which area of law did you practice?

What is technology law? Isn’t it a very controversial law?

Have you heard of the recent law proposed related to online gambling?

What is the process of amendment of a law?

Can the president return the law for reconsideration?

What is freedom of speech as per you and are the restrictions on it justified?

Why does India have so many restrictions when in France they can make cartoons on the Prophet?

Are the actions of the BJP in protests like CAA justified?

What according to you are the qualities of a good lawyer?

What is your opinion regarding the tussle between legislature and executive on the appointment of judges?

What is the solution to resolving pendency of cases in the judiciary?

What is the appellate mechanism from NCLT and the consumer courts?

Q)Who is your business role model? Don't say Ratan Tata.
A)I wasn't prepared for this question. Randomly mentioned Zerodha's founders.
Q)Why do you like Zerodha?
A) Tried to explain in the lines of "they don't run on investors money and are profitable while most other startups aren't". Was cut short.
Q)So you work at Deloitte? What is your role?
A)SAP developer.
Q) I don't know what SAP is, describe?
A) Described that it is an ERP software used to automate and streamline business processes.
Q)What is an input? How is it different from a resource? (I mentioned enterprise resource planning software in my earlier answer)
A)Tried to differentiate between them but the interviewer insisted that they are the same. I tried to hold my ground till the end. Gave different analogies. This discussion alone lasted 5-6 mins.
Q) What is business?
A) Answered and mentioned "profit" somewhere.
Q)What is profit? Should I continue a business which is not profitable? Asked about Tata motors not being profitable for a long time.
A)I tried to answer but failed, she cross questioned a lot. I tried to explain that TATAs want be seen in almost every product around us that is why maybe they are carrying on with a loss making company.
Q) Pointing to the Bisleri bottle kept at the table, do you think Tata makes these?
A)Yes they do, however it is not Bisleri but some other brand which I cannot recall at this moment. (It is Himalayan)
Q) What is Deloitte or how significant it is in its industry?
A) Answered that we are the biggest professional services company in the world.
Q) How do you arrive at that conclusion?
A) Mentioned in terms of revenue and no of employees.
Q)What is the revenue of Deloitte?
A) Answered. Also mentioned growth compared to last year. Panel seemed satisfied.
Q)If Deloitte is so good then why do you want to leave and come for an MBA?
A)Combined two of my standard answers for "Why MBA?" and "Why MBA after IT?"

Q) Looking at my UG marksheet, have you studied Numerical Analysis and Discrete Mathematics?
A)I said yes.(I did not perform well in these subjects)
Q)What did you learn in these subjects, mention any 2-3 topics.
A)I said Newton's interpolation formula and Newton Rapson's method.
Q) Explain any one of them?
A)Started explaining Newton's interpolation, was cut short.
Q) Don't explain the concept, talk about applications?
A)Gave examples for Newton's interpolation formula with population data.
Q)What is the population of India?
A) Answered.
Q)What is India's rank in population, tried to confuse me by saying we didn't cross China.
A)I held my ground and said that we have crossed China.
Q)Asked about population of top 5 countries in decreasing order?
A)I didn't know after India and China…took a guess and said Brazil would be one.(Feeling stupid that I could have easily mentioned Pakistan and Bangladesh but it didn't strike me there)
Q) Which is the biggest country in terms of economy?
A)The US.
Q)Top 5 economics in order?
A) Answered
Q)On what basis do we order economies?
A)Said GDP.
Q) India's GDP?
A) Answered.
Q)Did you take coaching for CAT and interview?
A)Said yes.
Q)Which institute?
A)I said IMS and CL.
Q)Full form of IMS?
A) Didn't know.(They laughed and said how come you don't know )
Q)Why 2 institutes?
A)I explained and they were satisfied with the answer.

Overall, the panel was helpful. They had a conversational tone and were smiling at times. But they cross questioned a lot. They didn't accept most of the answers at face value and cross questioned with 4-5 follow ups.

P1: workex related grilling, cross questioning on my role

P2: should growth be unlimited. how to calculate growth rate. Answered but he insisted on what happens if initial value is zero. Tried to answer to my best ability but grilled a lot.

Acad chemical engg so he asked about 3 leading brands of drinking alcohol (was a bit blank, could name one), and 3 leading brands of paints (was able to say)

Nothing related to current affairs. Tried to stay calm but was overall a weird experience.
