After Israel, the Seychelles are one of the countries that have already vaccinated most members of their population. According to the "New York Times", of the nearly 99,000 inhabitants of the island paradise, 66% have been vaccinated at least once and 38% have been "fully" vaccinated. This puts the Seychelles in second place after Israel.

Till the beginning of the vaccination campaing Seychelles had no rrecorded "COVID-19 Death. This changed dramatically with the beginning of the vaccination campaing.

The left graph below shows it clearly: The first official Covid 19 fatality was not recorded until January 5, 2021. The second victim is recorded on January 16, 2021. And after that, it's a steep climb. From March 2 to March 6, the curve shows a particularly steep rise. During each of these four days, there was one new fatality per day.

The right graph below shows new deaths per day.
