Capability Of James Web Telescope To Detect ExoFarms

Agricultural activity is very important to to locate the advanced extraterrestrial civilization. Assuming that agricultural processes are similar to earth and their atmospheres are similar to earth, astrobiologists and other scientists may determine the agricultural activity in a Exoplanets using the equipment on the James webb space telescope. If the parameters differ it becomes more complex to theorize the experiments needed.

Our Cluster mission has recorded the magnetic waves generated in the magnetic foreshock above Earth – the first region of our planet’s magnetic environment that solar wind particles encounter – during calm space weather conditions. The audio used here is a 'sonification' of the data, where sounds were obtained by transforming the frequencies of these magnetic waves into audible signals.⠀⠀⠀⠀

This timelapse was recorded separately by our astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti from the ISS during her Futura mission in 2015 while orbiting from the Canary Islands to Italy.

Videos of solar flares are always pretty cool (or hot ), but we especially love this one from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory!

The footage you see here is of a solar flare that was released on April 17, 2016, from the Sun’s right side. The Solar Dynamics Observatory, or SDO, took images of it in multiple wavelengths of extreme ultraviolet light. Usually, we can’t see this with our eyes, but this clip was color-coded to make it visible.

Jupiter‘s moon Adrastea! Do you know why it is shaped like that?

Adrastea is the second by distance, and the smallest of the four inner moons of Jupiter. It was discovered in photographs taken by Voyager 2 in 1979, making it the first natural satellite to be discovered from images taken by an interplanetary spacecraft, rather than through a telescope.

Adrastea is one of the few moons in the Solar System known to orbit its planet in less than the length of that planet's day. It orbits at the edge of Jupiter's Main Ring and is thought to be the main contributor of material to the Rings of Jupiter. Despite observations made in the 1990s by the Galileo spacecraft, very little is known about the moon's physical characteristics other than its size and the fact that it is tidally locked to Jupiter.

Saturn V was an American human-rated, three-stage, liquid-fueled super heavy-lift launch vehicle developed by NASA under the Apollo program for human exploration of the Moon. It was flown from 1967 to 1973. It was used for nine crewed flights to the Moon, and to launch Skylab, the first American space station.

As of 2022, the Saturn V remains the only launch vehicle to carry humans beyond low Earth orbit (LEO). Saturn V holds records for the heaviest payload launched and largest payload capacity to low Earth orbit: 310,000 lb (140,000 kg), which included the third stage and unburned propellant needed to send the Apollo command and service module and Lunar Module to the Moon.

Russian Proton Rocket crash in 2013! What went wrong?

The crash was likely caused by an emergency shutdown of the booster's engines 17 seconds into the flight.

The crash of the 17-story booster destroyed three onboard navigation satellites, which were worth almost $200 million.

Which of the planets in the Solar System is closest to Earth?

If we look at the orbits of the planets, it turns out that the closest to us is the orbit of Venus — about 40 million km. But do not forget that the planets are constantly moving and the distances between them are changing.

The animation reflects the movement of the planets over 16 years, and the line with the Earth connects the planet that is closest to us at a certain point in time.

So: most of the time, Mercury is closest to Earth.
