This footage is described as “some of the best footage ever” of a UFO, and damn it’s not hard to see why! A Miami resident had some kind of connection with a luminous craft, that started appearing regularly far off from his home. The sightings then migrated to right in his backyard, mere feet away.

It’s sightings like these that punch a hole in the very weak skeptics argument that “all UFO sightings are manmade.” If the government’s secret space program was operational by the 80’s as many believe, could they really have created a luminous saucer that can dematerialize at will? Would they be testing out incredible technology in a random persons backyard? ... and even IF it was manmade- where would they have gotten the tech?

By 620 million years ago, this had increased to 21.9 hours. Today, the average day is 24 hours long, but is increasing by about 1.7 milliseconds every century.

The reason? The moon is slowing down Earth's rotation through the tides that it helps create.

Earth's spin causes the position of its tidal ocean bulges to be pulled slightly ahead of the moon-Earth axis, which creates a twisting force that slows down Earth's rotation.

As a result, our day is getting longer — but not long enough to make a difference to your busy schedule.
