VO: Then why this university?
Me: This university is offering a course curriculum that meets my requirements. It offers a speacialization in database systems which is my area of interest. It also includes a capstone project which is a realtime experience in health informatics where we will be doing research on topics like health reform, health information systems, health networking & security. Moreover, they have been running this program successfully for 10years. (He was continuously typing, it felt like he wasn't listening to my answer)
VO: What is your bachelors percentage?
Me: Cgpa 6.6 without any backlogs.
VO: When did you graduate?
Me: In dec 2020
VO: What have you been doing since then?
Me: I have 1 year of work experience at XXX where I was practicing as a dentist. I quit in XX 2022 to pursue masters.
VO: Your bachelors is in dentistry then why do you want to do masters in health informatics
Me: This program is designed for individuals from healthcare backgrounds who want to use advanced technology in their clinical practice to improve healthcare outcomes.
VO: So what are your plans after graduation ?
Me: I would like to start my own dental clinic in India where I'll be using advanced technology to provide accurate diagnosis and quality treatment to my patients.
VO : Have you written GRE
ME: My university did not require me to take gre for this program so I didn't take it.
VO: Who is sponsoring you?
Me: My father is sponsoring me with his savings of xxlakhs and we have immovable assets worth xx lakhs
Vo: What does he do?
Me: Explained about my fathers occupation.
VO: Have you taken education loan?
Me: No officer because my father's savings are enough to cover my expenses and we also have immovable assets which will be utilised for my education if needed.
VO: Do you have any siblings?
I couldn't hear this question thrice so asked him to repeat. He was humble enough to remove his mask and repeat the question for me to understand.
Me: I have 1 younger brother
VO : Is he in school?
Me: No. He is doing his undergrad on full scholarship
Vo: In the U.S?
Me : No officer. Here in India.
Now he had separated my passport from i20
Vo: Are you taking this course online or on campus?
Me: On campus
Vo: Please scan your left hand four fingers.
Finally the words I had been waiting to hear since months
VO: Thank you maam. Your visa is approved!
Me: Thank you officer!

Took me a while to absorb what I had just heard. After months of hardwork I finally succeeded. Alhamdullillah!

Tips: Speak as clearly as possible so that they understand what you are trying to explain them. As everybody else says, CONFIDENCE IS THE KEY.

Also there is no way to avoid any counters so please dont stress yourself about unnecessary things. While waiting just keep revising your answers. Forget about approval or rejection. Just focus on answering in the best way possible no matter who the VO is.

VO: who is funding you?
Me: wright State University is providing me scholarship of 10,000 dollars,my father and grandfather are sponsoring me with their savings of 20 lacs.I have an education loan (then she cut me off).
Vo:what does your father do?
Me: my father is a large scale agriculturalist who gets his income from paddy fields
Vo: how many acres do you have?
Me:we have 17 acres of land.
VO: your visa is approved, place your right hand four fingers on the sacnner!(she returned my i20 and kept the passport, didn't give any green slip.)

Me:-I have done researched a few universities in the field of information technology management I found CSP have a good course curriculum and well industrial experienced faculty. Moreover, they provide practical skills and technical expertise needed to lead complex project compilation(VO interrupt ) and a chance to obtain hands-on experience through the experiential learning program.
VO:-Apart from your work and studies what do you do in your leisure time?
Me:-Right now, I'm working as an associate software engineer but in my leisure time participating in social activities.

Me: officer, I'm really passionate about this master's. I have already tried taking online courses in India itself. Which is really not helping me as I'm lacking at hands-on experience. Me: Collecting the data, analysing according to company needs and making profit based on the needs.
Vo:  what are the tools used and explain me process in this role?(Business analyst)
Me: (I was shocked for this question because i dont know that he will be asking about my future job)
I was tried to differentiate between Business analyst and Data analyst (as i cant say that i dont know the answer for this.)
Vo: Why do they do this role?
Me: Officer when a company requires profit they need a business analyst to provide information which will be the key role for a company.
Vo: Give real life example for this role?
Me: For pricing analyst i can say e-commerce companies like Flipkart, Amazon.
Vo:Your visa is approved
(He kept the passport and passed my i20, i came out very fast and dint look back again.
Confidence is the key factor at kolkata, no matter what they ask, you should answer with confidence eventhough its wrong.

By completing master’s degree, I will get in-depth knowledge to improve performance of software applications using Ai Technologies .and I want to upgrade my skills with latest AI Tools. Officer. Advice: Listen question carefully, Be polite & answer confidently, maintain Eye contact don't fumble. they are really humble. & Luck also matters

Speak loud and confident , tho it’s a true/false answer.
