In delhi visa rate was good only if you speak with confidence .


If you are going for good university they will accpect your visa easily.

Fill your ds 160 very carefully. They will about you from ds 160.

Carry your each and every document they might ask you for anything for proof.

During biometrics the security had allowed just half an hour before the slot timings.It was very hot in Delhi not even a roof to stand outside, plan your travel accordingly.

Documents asked in biometrics are DS-160, Interview Appointment,Passport.

In the biometrics they just validate our personal information and they take our photograph.During biometrics they will attach a sticker with barcode at the backend of our passport.

Here it goes the interview

Me:Very good morning officer..!
VO :Very good morning..!(with a louder voice than mine,then I got to know to be bit more louder)
VO:Pass me your passport,i-20
Me:Yes officer
VO:Ohh.. University at buffalo
Me:Yes officer masters in computer and information science (she did not even asked I mentioned it)
VO:(she throwed my i-20 into the tray) and the golden words your visa is approved.
Me:Thank you officer
VO:Thank you




After completion of this I was still in shock and I was confirming whether the passport is in my hand or not.

At consulate they charge you 50 for mobile and 100 for backpack.Asusual you have to stay under sun here as well.They had called 1 hr before the slot timings

Counter observation :There were total 7 counters operating on the day.Boy cut American was checking the confidence of students and accepting most of them.Indian VO was grilling the students.American bald guy was accepting as well.Not sure of other counters

Have seen high number of acceptance in the consulate.However they had also rejected some people(observation when I was standing outside the consulate).

Whoever finalised this university ,I am looking for rommates.Happy to connect.

VO : So you are currently working?
Me : Yes officer. I am currently working as a Senior Software Developer in Accenture.
VO : Tell me about your roles and responsibilities.
Me: I was involved in all the phases of development starting from gathering the requirements from the business, development of webapi and creating SQL Server database stored procedures, automation of unit test cases using NUnit and presenting demos to the client.
VO : How are you gonna fund your education?
Me : My father is my primary sponsor and I have also secured and education loan of 56L from prodigy finance.
VO: Place your left hand four fingers on the scanner.
Me: Placed.
VO: Alright man enjoy your stay at Arizona.
Me: Thank you officer.

The guy in front of me was rejected because he fumbled to explain about his job roles and responsibilities and the guy before him got approved.

Suggestions:
1. Don’t go too early because its too hot in Delhi and you’ll get exhausted. The security guard will call you 50mins before your time slot. Some people are lying about their time slot and entering the queue. I would suggest not to do that because the chances are they might send you back again to end of the queue if they find out.
2. Don’t worry about the people in front of you. Even if they are rejected don’t lose your confidence.
3. Practise in front of the mirror or by recording yourself. Give mocks to someone you don’t know. There are many students in the Telegram channels so connect with someone and ask them to take your mock. That way you’ll see where you stand.
4. If you are a working professional then be prepared about questions related to your job roles and responsibilities and if you’re a recent passed out student then try to prepare about your major project.
5. Most of the VO’s want to know how the course is relevant to your bachelors/work and how it will help you in the future so be prepared for that.

Just be confident and the visa is yours. I wish everyone good luck.

Approval rate in delhi is very high
indian vo rejected some others almost all approved till the time i was there
NO document checked.
no special cheking of financials of hyderbad students or strict checking for south indian students for finance all are false rumors

I saw she approved 2 visas before me. One was f1 and a family visa I guess. There were approvals at other counters too.
Be confident and calm that's super important
You can't choose the counter on your own. Bcs I saw a girl changed the counter by making excuse to drink water but they made her stand in the same counter as earlier. So here luck factor matters!

And VOs change their counters everyday! So dont rely on counter no. S
