There will be three winning positions for traders with the most profit points:
1st place will get $500;
2nd place will get $300;
3rd place will get $200.

Plus, the contest comes with more additional rewards:
a $100 prize to a random marathon participant;
a private consultation with an FBS analyst for the participant who finishes last.

The marathon will run for three days between June 14 and 16, with the results announced on June 17.

US Producer Price Index — June 14, 15:30 MT time
Fed Interest Rate Decision — June 15, 21:00 MT time
BoE Interest Rate Decision — June 16, 14:00 MT time

Last time, the actual data of PPI met the expectations. However, numbers decreased compared with the previous month. As a result, EURUSD reversed and gained over 300 points. This time, great moves are expected in EURUSD and USDCHF currency pairs.

Markets expect the Federal Reserve to raise the key rate by 50 basis points. Any hints about future key rate increases will shake USD and risk assets. Last time, the Fed statement met expectations. As a result, the US dollar decreased versus other currencies.

Another 25-basis-point rate hike is expected. Any hints provided by the BoE will add volatility to the currency pairs with GBP. Last time, traders thought the central bank wouldn’t make a big enough rate hike to fight inflation. As a result, GBPUSD plunged.

2022-06-09 16:07:19 Meet Ra Kamphaeng-phet, a long-term FBS trader from Thailand! Ra is not just a trading enthusiast but also a big football fan. One of his all-time favourite teams is Leicester City. That’s why he eagerly participated in a contest we ran with LCFC

The goal was to name the players hidden in the picture. Ra did it 100 per cent right and won an LCFC-signed football and a shirt signed by Kelechi Iheanacho. Last week, the Bank of Canada raised the interest rate by 50 basis points to 1.5%. Policymakers hint at further rate hikes with a “neutral range” estimated at 2-3%. As a result, the Canadian dollar can strengthen against other currencies. The unstoppable rise in oil prices also pushes the Canadian dollar higher since these assets are strongly correlated. Also, Canada's economy showed a surge in trade with the rest of the world in March.

USDCAD broke below the 50-week moving average and retested April's low at 1.2540. Now it has a chance to break this level and target the next support at 1.2450. If the price breaks through the support, the downtrend for the USD will continue with the possible strong support at 1.2300. On the upside, the resistance level lies at 1.2660.

AUD Cash Rate – June 7, 07:30 MT time
EUR monetary policy statement – June 9, 14:45 MT time
USD CPI – June 10, 15:30 MT time

The Reserve Bank of Australia will announce its cash rate and make a statement about future rate policy. The bigger-than-forecast reading will do good for the currency. A surprise rate hike will propel AUDUSD. Conversely, if the RBA is cautious and doesn’t hint at the upcoming rate increases, the AUD will move down.

The European central bank will make a monetary policy statement at the ECB press conference. If the ECB statement is more hawkish than forecasted, EURUSD will likely rise. In a more dovish situation, EURUSD will likely fall.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics will release CPI and core CPI on Friday. Last time, CPI was 0.3% against the expected 0.2%, and core CPI was 0.6% vs 0.4% forecasted. If the US CPI exceeds the forecast, USD may strengthen against other currencies. Otherwise, it will drop.
