Veteran Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh, 51, a Palestinian-American who was among the network's most prominent figures in the area was shot dead on Wednesday while covering an IDF raid in the occupied West Bank.

ISKP claimed responsibility the missile attack on Saturday.

Afghan media quoted the Taliban-led government attributed the attack to the ISIS terrorist group, while local Tajik officials at the Afghan border claimed that the terrorist act was carried out by anti-government militants in Tajikistan.

No casualties reported on either side.

This is the second missile attack from Afghanistan on Central Asian countries (Uzbekistan and Tajikistan).
