According with the report, after an argument, the illegal immigrant used the old man's cane to hit him in the head several times. After several blows the illegal immigrant left the man covered in blood and fled, the cane was found broken in a trash can

The illegal immigrant was arrested, but no further information was released regarding his name or nationality
