SAMPLE TASK 2 | BAND 6.5
Some people say it is important to plant trees in the open spaces in towns and cities than to build more housing. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is currently a contentious argument over the necessity of tree plantation in the open rooms in towns and cities. In my perspective, I total agree with this idea. This essay is going to analyze some potential preferences to support my agreement.
On the one hand, it is quite obvious that people nowadays need a huge number of housing. In other words, we are living in modern era, therefore, building construction is quite likely to play a role in our society. For an example, the population explosion in decades has been increasing the worldwide household demand. Human, as a result, need much more spaces to build not only housing but also workplaces. Moreover, deforestation seems as a method to solve this shortage state. It is aimed to create huge negative impacts to the Earth mother and disbalance natural diversity.
On the other hand, it is undoubted that tree has an essential part in human life. What I mean by this is that planting trees is significantly important to elevate the quality of life. Taking Japan as an instance. Japanese government implement a compaign to construct eco-friendly park with a number of green trees in metropolises, such as Tokyo, Kyoto. This compaign helps reduce the hazardous gas pumped to environment and create places for citizens to relieve stresses and enjoy fresh air after high-pressure working schedule. Nevertheless, tree plantation is more likely to impair the disadvantage of climate change by regulating CO2 ratio that is from vehicles and hard industries.
In conclusion, the importance of planting trees is absolutely clear although housing demand is increasing. I quite believe that the whole world could handle this matter wisely by some environmentally eco-friendly methods.
