Bruges #Belgium

Bruges is almost a ready—made movie decoration for a Hollywood blockbuster about the Hundred Years' War, for example.

It's not for nothing that the most popular excursions in this city are photo shoots, when the guide tells something about bridges and streets

The perfectly preserved medieval quarters of the historical center, permeated with canals, allowed Bruges to rightfully enter the ranks of contenders for the title of "Venice of the North".

Even by European standards, the architecture here is beyond praise – especially when it comes to Baroque and Gothic buildings.

Japan , Tokyo, Mori Digital Art Museum

If you ever happen to visit Tokyo, be sure to check out the Mori Digital Art Museum (Mori Building Digital Art Museum) on the man-made island of Odaiba. Here you will not find the usual glass showcases with exhibits and signs with the inscription "Do not touch with your hands". Instead, you will be able to plunge into fantastic interactive worlds that have no boundaries, created with the help of music, color and light.

The Mori Museum of Digital Art is 10 thousand square meters of dark labyrinths decorated with 50 fantastic light installations, which required 470 projectors and 520 computers to create. Exhibits are constantly changing, react to touch, interact with visitors and with each other. They can even run away from a person or follow him. The exposition is divided into five zones: "Forest of lamps", "Forest of Athletics", "Park of the Future", "Boundless World" and "Tea House".

Nærøyfjord #Norway

Nærøyfjord is an exceptionally picturesque place. This fjord is considered the smallest and narrowest fjord (only 300 meters wide). It is included in the UNESCO list and is an "arm" of the Sognefjord, the longest fjord in all of Europe.

It may seem that a fjord is a wide mountain river or an elongated lake, but in fact it is a bay with steep cliffs that can be more than two hundred kilometers long.

The Norwegian fjords turned out to be due to the fact that during the ice age the glacier began to slide towards the sea and scratched long, deep gorges under its weight, which were later filled with seawater.

Oravski Grad #Slovakia

Orava Castle is the most beautiful castle in Slovakia, built on a 112-meter cliff above Orava. It is included in the list of national cultural monuments of the country.

The castle was built in the XIII century, on the site of a small wooden fortress that stood on a rock since the Mongol invasion. The first mention of Oravsky Grad is found in documents of 1267.

The stronghold was built on the northwestern border of the kingdom to control trade routes between Poland and Hungary.

There was also a customs post here, collecting tribute from merchants who brought goods by water along the Orava.

France , Mont Saint-Michel Abbey

Mont Saint-Michel is a unique architectural complex consisting of a medieval abbey and a tiny commune at its walls, located on a small rocky island off the northwest coast of France in the department of the English Channel.

The construction of the abbey began with the arrival in 966 of Benedictine monks, invited by the Duke of Normandy Richard I, to the place of the community of canons expelled by him.

The Mont Saint-Michel rock in Normandy is a granite monolith 80 m high with a rounded foot, standing at the mouth of the Cusnon River. The area of the rocky island is 7 hectares.

At intervals of 24 hours and 50 minutes, tides occur in the bay, the most powerful in Europe. The water leaves the island at low tide for 18 km and floods the coast at high tide for 20 km .

Digor Gorge #Russia

Digor Gorge is the farthest corner of North Ossetia-Alania. It is located in the western part of the republic on the territory of the national reserve.

Vacationers in the Digor gorge and locals pay attention to the amazingly beautiful clouds. They, like milk foam, cover the mountain ranges. In other parts of Ossetia, you will rarely find such a sight.

Digoria is the edge of waterfalls. They are especially sought by vacationers on hot summer days. Tourists see the first unnamed waterfall in the gorge not far from the Ahsinta Canyon. It is customary to tie ribbons and make wishes near him.

Australia  , Kakadu National Park

Kakadu National Park is located 171 km east of Darwin. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its archaeological, natural and ethnological components are under strict protection, because Kakadu Park is unique and inimitable!

Kakadu National Park covers an area of 20,000 square kilometers, it is located about 150 km east of the city of Darwin. It is the largest national park in Australia. It also includes the Southern Alligator River, where a particularly large population of crocodiles lives, and various areas of the park include wastelands, eucalyptus and rain forests.

The peculiarity of Kakadu Park is that its nature looks as if no human foot has ever set foot here. The territory of the Park has not only a unique structure of the earth's crust, but also soils that are unusual in their biological and chemical composition.

Palau

Palau is the embodiment of all the dreams of a tourist (especially a diver), a tropical paradise with hundreds of different islands, lagoons with crystal clear water and a rich underwater world.

Palau, or to be more precise, the Republic of Palau is an island state consisting of 328 islands with a total area of 458 km2.

It is noteworthy that only 8 islands are inhabited by humans. All the others are the kingdom of nature, stunning landscapes, blue lagoons and the incredible atmosphere of the amazing paradise islands of the Pacific Ocean.

The climate on the islands is tropical, with classic wet and dry periods, but they practically do not have significant and sharp differences. The wet season falls on the period May-November, dry, respectively, from December to April.

Slovakia , Castle Oravski grad

The castle of Oravski Grad stands on a cliff more than 100 meters high on the banks of the Morava River, near the village of Oravski Podzamok. Due to its location, the castle acquired the second name "eagle's nest". This castle complex began to be built in the XIII century on the site of a wooden fortification. For the first time Oravsky grad was mentioned in chronicle sources back in 1267. A century later, it was already one of the largest castles in the area. The palace on the territory of the City was built in the XVI century, and in 1800 the castle buildings suffered during a fire, and only in the XIX century its reconstruction in the Romanticism style began. The castle was completely reconstructed only in the last century, and now the Moravian Museum of Local Lore is located here.
